We choose to stay here because we thought it fitted our needs: it turned out to be much better than that. To briefly describe the party there were 9 adults and one child (aged 3) – we stayed over new year. We had a gasp and a ‘wow’ as we drove up the drive. The cottages are set in a beautiful location in the Kent countryside; there were two horses in the adjacent field which we called horse and chestnut. And although it felt like the middle of nowhere, the village (with a decent pub which served good food) was only a mile and a bit away.
The cottages were clean, well presented, with a good amount of space and well equipped – well that is a slightly understatement, there were bonuses that we didn’t expect, in particular the toys and games. There were enough bathrooms, the beds were incredibly comfy, the towels were fluffy and the kitchen had all the equipment we needed for all our meals.
Wendy and Nigel were helpful, professional and friendly throughout – couldn’t have asked for more. As the organiser of our party I worried about choosing the right place and one which suited all our differing needs, but as soon as we got there I knew it was going to be good. My friends and I had a brilliant holiday with many wonderful memories created, which will be long cherished. Many thanks to Nigel and Wendy for providing the perfect backdrop.
